Welcome to 2012. Uganda Health Communication Alliance (UHCA) would like to greatly thank you for the support and good working relationship. In this edition of Uganda Health Reporter we introduce to you the Centre for Tobacco Control in Africa (CTCA) that was launched on 1st November 2011. Meanwhile, the Tobacco Control Bill has been tabled in parliament, what is the next step?  As Deusdedit Ruhangariyo shares his experience after attending the 2nd International conference on family planning which focused on research and best practices. Also enjoy UHCA’s 2011 activities pictorial presentation.

Welcome to our October edition of Uganda Health Reporter. In this issue, it has been discovered, there is limited knowledge that is hindering the uptake of pediatric HIV/AIDS services in Uganda. Whereas malnutrition has continued to be a big challenge across the country, it  can be addressed within the next five years. We also bring you a team of journalist that visited Kitgum district to assess the level of malnutrition and discovered nodding disease that is silently wiping away the young generation.
